Synopsis

A young woman, Lillian Grace, inherits a house from her Grandmother. Growing up she always noticed strange things happening around the house so she never was quite comfortable living there. As a kid, she was spoiled by her Grandmother. Never grateful for anything bestowed on her because of the resentment that she felt when her mother died at an early age, she has become a very bitter, uncaring person, who's only friend is Danielle.

Danielle has been the only person who would put up with Lillian's ranting and raving and cold-hearted treatment throughout the years. Danielle is a no nonsense, “what you see is what you get” former exotic dancer, who together with Lillian makes BIG $$ running a private service whose clients are wealthy men who like private events in discreet places. Danielle has a strong connection to Lillian, but can't explain why.

Upon inheriting the house, Lillian decides that this would be the perfect “hideaway” for her private parties with her clients, so she reluctantly moves in. The night she moves in, she finds a homeless man on her doorstep. In his last dying breath he breathes the spirit into her. Suddenly, she becomes possessed and begins to do things that are not of her character or personality. She becomes cordial, and appreciative of everything around her. She sees the beauty that she never saw in the house and surroundings before. The spirit is always trying to separate itself from her so that it can manifest itself into the “unknown suitor,” but can only manage a second or 2 of materialization as long as she's awake.

But when Lillian falls asleep at night the spirit can release itself from her. It begins to visit various parts of the house. Danielle begins to learn what actually happened in the house and why certain things mysteriously occurred that could never be explained. Through 3 generations who have lived in the house the history begins to unfold: the rapes, the severe mental abuse and subsequent death of her Great Grandmother, the murder of her Mother, the unknown suitor, the disappearance and unsolved death of her Grandmother... All of this goes on whenever her private parties are happening. We go back and forth between the present and the past with each scene playing out as if it were the other; all of them succumbing to the mystery of the house.

The spirit tries to impregnate Lillian, just as he has all the other Grace women. Her ancestors begin to give Danielle info as to how to overcome the Spirit. The audience learns that there were never any human men involved in any of these relationships and occurrences. It has been the Demon spirit all along that has possessed and subsequently destroyed each Grace woman. It seems hopeless, but in the end, Danielle destroys the Demon Spirit and helps Lillian overcome the possession with help from the spirits of her Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, and finds that life is not such a horrible thing after all.
